R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

I know this has nothing to do with Stardoll, but a lot of other blogs have already posted about it and I feel I should post about it too. Also, I`m sorry I didn't do it sooner; I was sleeping over at my friend's and I didn't get the chance to go on the computer.


On Thursday 25th June 2009, Michael Jackson passed away from a suspected cardiac arrest.
He was known worldwide for his dancing and singing, and his talent of entertaining.
His life was sometimes controversial, but everyone respected his music. He was about to have a comeback concert in London before his death.
His talent shone right from when he was five to when he was 50.
R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

Extra Stardollars!

So, I logged in today with 8 stardollars.
I opened a new tab and went to starplaza, and saw a really nice necklace for 5. So I went to my original tab, with the starplaza tab still open, and I played the game for 5 stardollars. When I got those, I closed the tab and bought the necklace in starplaza. The extra money thing was still on +0. After a second, my 8 stardollars turned to 14. When I saw the HotBuy's skirt was non-ss, I bought it, and I went back to 2 stardollars, which meant the stardollars were valid. I don't have a clue how this happened, but I think that you should try and see if it works for you! :]

July HotBuys - Preveiw Out Today

Third post today; I`m on a roll. ;]


The July HotBuys preveiw came out today, and I must say I am pretty impressed.


My favourites are:
The Gold and Black platform heels
The Sun hat
The 80's Pink Print Dress
The Gladiator Pink Sandals
The Lion Print Bodysuit.

I`m not so sure about:
The Zebra Print Jumpsuit - It isn't exactly the most flattering jumpsuit I`ve ever seen.
The Pink Shorts - They just look like any other pair of shorts. Nothing special, but I can see a few people buying them.

Overall, I think the HotBuys will go down well with everyone. :]

Some New Things That Are Getting Old.

Okay, so a lot of new things have come out over the past week.
I didn't make a post about them because, well, every other Stardoll blog has posted about them already. I just made this post to show you that I did know this kind of stuff happened. :]
In the picture below, I put all of the main stuff in.
And if you didn't already know this, because not a lot of blogs actually posted this part, the dress was the winner for a Water StarDesign contest that not a lot of us knew was happening.
So, that lucky person got their dress sold in Starplaza.
But some downsides:
We don't know who that person is, so they can't get the publicity they probably want,
And they don't get any profit whatsoever, because Stardoll made it free.
But we don't really care, as long as we get a free dress. :D

New Writer - Competition[:

Okay, we really need a new writer, because hardly anyone is writing. D:

If you want to be a writer, you have to:

And

2. Have good ideas.

Underwater Themed Suites - Poll

2nd Post today :]
Anyways, I was looking at some of the design studios, and I decided to visit some of the people in the "Most Popular Designers" list, and I saw that 3 of them had an Underwater-themed suite; and I immediately thought of making a post for the blog about it. :]

1. MissPaprika

I really love the way there's loads of things just scattered about on the seabed, and it makes the suite look almost realistic. I love the seaweed around her also, it makes her look as if she's a lost mermaid. :]

2. MadMacMom

I really love this suite too, it reminds me of the Titanic. The furniture looks alot like the ones they would have had in the ship, and you can see out of the little windows too and look at all the fish in the sea. :]

1. Keira-V

I really loved this suite too, and it's darker than the others so it looks as if it's a picture of the sea behind her. I LOVE the crown on her head, it's a real mermaid queen kind of look. :]

So now it's time for you to vote the suite you think portrayed the best Underwater Theme.

I don't know who I'd choose, but I`m not the judge in this poll. :]

Voile Dress - BACK!

Yes;

The Voile Dresses are back!

You know, the ones where you get a message and if you buy Superstar membership, you get the dress.

I`ll admit, we're not exactly starting off with a bang.

But STILL.

The Tee-Dress looks a bit unflattering, and I don't really like the colour. Actually, it reminds me of that dress that Stardoll sold on their third birthday. Are you going to buy it? I certainly am not. But at least this means there's more to come!

DIY poll and HB bag. :]

I decided to make a DIY poll on who wore some of the items best.
To be honest, it was hard to find people that were wearing the items, but, after a lot of visiting, I finally found enough people to make a good poll.
The only problem is, everyone that wears the DIY clothing has to wear it well:
Which means it's going to be hard to choose a winner!
But, thankfully, I am not the one that has to vote; YOU are. :]

In other news, the new Hotbuys bag came out today.

I like the way it's a very casual, throw-over-the-shoulder kind of look.

It's the first of the June Hotbuys to be released, and in two days we'll see the release of the HB flower skirt. As usual, the bag is for Superstars only. Maybe the Hotbuys will encourage some people to become SS... Maybe.

Next up, Vivienne Tam is closed for renovation for the first time.

I love the curtains for the renovation sign, it gives a real Chinese feel to the shop.
